No One Likes to Be Wrong
After taking a look at right or correct in Chinese, you will find that the most common way to say that something is wrong or incorrect is to literally say, “Not right.”
Still, technically speaking, the Chinese character “cuo” (said with a falling, fourth tone) should be used to indicate that something is wrong.
But, you will find it difficult in Chinese culture to find someone say that they have made a mistake UNLESS it is to save face…
